We went in mid-week for dinner last week and had a wonderful meal. I typically get one of a few dishes, I am so predictable! This time was the taco salad. Heaping with vegetables and tasty meat, my favorite part is the beans on the bottom of the tortilla but it takes time to get there.
Michael had the special, Beef Stroganoff. Now I thought I made this dish quite well. Apparently not. Michael had me taste it, wow, it had every flavor pegged to the "T". We took home half and had to battle who got to eat the leftovers, me for work lunch or him for a snack. I lost.
Anna, please add this dish to your menu.

Came here with a group of friends for our bi-weekly #NewRestaurantFriday. We ended up being the only ones in the restaurant which is always weird but it sounded like there was at least 1 to-go order that was picked up.

The overall consensus was that the food was good. I was disappointed in the gravy but enjoyed my belgian waffle.

I went to Anna's Restaurant this Tuesday morning for a networking breakfast. The owner Anna caters the meeting herself which was refreshing. I found her grandmotherly demeanor fun and heartwarming.

The food is traditional american food, I had hearty eggs, sausage and gravy on biscuits.  Yum!

Reminds me of real Southern cooking! It was comforting and delicious. I could not get enough of that fried catfish. So tender and perfectly seasoned. The portions are huge and it's a wonderful place to spend time with the family. Ann was so sweet and attentive to all the patrons at the restaurant. The staff is great and my compliments to the chef! He/she made my day with that Catfish dinner. Delicious!

The most terrible service here. ANNA, apparently the owner, is the worst. How could you be so nasty to your paying customers. Gross. If I wasn't with a party of 10, I would have walked out. We get there, aren't acknowledged, then when we finally are, we tell them it's a party of 10. The lady repeats, "TEN?!??" With a surprised look on her face, then proceeds to say "hold on". From the time we sat down, until the moment we left was just terrible attitudes left and right. The reason this business receives 2 stars is because the food was decent. It was nice and hot and had a good taste. My family loves it here, but customer service, to ME trumps taste in my book. These ladies need to learn how to acknowledge, take orders and serve kindly.
